The North FP6600 Tripod is engineered with the user in mind. The aluminum legs are made of square tubing for added lightness and required strength. The cast alloy head has an integrated pulley system allowing a cable from a device to pass through the center of the head. This eliminates costly pulleys and allows one of the 2 eyebolts in the head to be used as a tie-off point for the topside worker. Another advantage of the FP6600 Tripod is that retractable devices are located on the outside of the working area and not beneath the tripod. This allows a narrower profile and that means the tripod can fit into tighter spaces.North's all-aluminum construction sacrifices nothing to the safety and security of its users.
