Tripods For Multiple Workers Will Accommodate Several Winches When Needed

Complete confined space entry and rescue kit: Confined space kit includes 7 foot tripod, storage bag, leg chain assembly, 50 foot 3/16 galvanized cable sealed self retracting lifeline with built in retrieval winch and bracket  from $3862.95 (2007 list price)  Sale price $3697.95

The FP6600 Tripod is engineered with the user in mind. The aluminum legs are made of square tubing for added lightness and required strength. The cast alloy head has an integrated pulley system allowing a cable from a device to pass through the center of the head. This eliminates costly pulleys and allows one of the 2 eyebolts in the head to be used as a tie-off point for the topside worker. Another advantage of the FP6600 Tripod is that retractable devices are located on the outside of the working area and not beneath the tripod. This allows a narrower profile and that means the tripod can fit into tighter spaces. This all-aluminum construction sacrifices nothing to the safety and security of its users. All are rated for one person at 136kg. or 300lbs and meet applicable ANSI and OSHA requirements.

FP6600/7 closed length 4.5ft (1.4 m) open length 7 ft (2.1 m) 29 lbs (13 kg) 300 lbs (136 kg) 1000 lbs (450 kg) FP6600/10 closed length 6 ft (1.8 m) open length 10 ft (3 m) 34 lbs (15 kg) 300 lbs (136 kg) 1000 lbs (450 kg)

The primary winch cable goes over the head of the tripod giving the most headroom / clear space for a worker to be completely rescue from the confined space. Multiple anchor points under the head of this tripod allow for up to 3 winches to be installed using pulleys or a 2 winches installed on the tripod with the safety attendant being tied off for fall arrest / fall protection requirements.

UCL Tripods combine the quality and user friendly performance of all UCL Safety Systems equipment with the economy of the basic tripod. Constructed of lightweight tubular aluminum with a rugged steel head assembly, the UCT-300 tripod (shown) can be combined with up to three pulleys to accommodate a variety of winches and fall-arrest devices to meet a wide range of confined space entry/retrieval and rescue requirements. Pulleys are mounted on top of the head assembly to provide extra overhead clearance in tight situations. Plastic sliders between inner and outer leg tubes provide smooth adjustment, and prevent inner tube from inadvertently pulling out of outer tube. Quick release pins positively locate components at all adjustment points for tool-less setup and adjustment.

The Cantilever Rescue System Kit quickly and easily converts your UCT-1000 10 foot tripod into a versatile piece of equipment for confined space entry/retrieval and high-angle rescue operations over roof edges, parapets, guard rails, cliffs, bridges or other situations. Using the rigid wheel pad supplied with the kit, the cantilever system may be anchored with a service vehicle's weight, weight rack or with a single anchor point. The lightweight, portable cantilever kit installs and adjusts without tools.

Cantilever Kit Weight Rack for use with the UCT- 1000 Tripod: Use the weight rack in conjunction with the UCT-1000 tripod and cantilever system for counter balanced confined space entry/retrieval and rescue operations over roof edges, parapets, guard rails, cliffs, bridges or other situations.
