First man up system and pole 

The AP170A First-Man-Up Clamshell Hook is the primary component of the Protecta First- Man-Up system. Attached to the AP107A telescoping pole, the system provides a quick and easy method of attaching a lifeline or self retracting lifeline to an anchorage that is located overhead and out of reach. The fall arrestor or lifeline is attached to the AP170A hook, the AP107A fiberglass pole is extended to the anchorage point, and the AP170A opens and closes automatically around anchorages up to 5-7/8” in diameter. Hook and pole remain attached during work; the hook is removed simply by twisting the pole. The AP170A is constructed of lightweight aluminum.

The Model VFB attaches quickly to the bottom of side of horizontal and vertical beams and columns to form a rigid anchorage connector to connect a safety lanyard or retractable lifeline, vertical and horizontal lifelines or perimeter lines for personal fall protection and fall restraint. The Model VFB's unique design allows it to clamp tightly on the flange of the beam or column and can be quickly and easily unclamped for movement to another location.
